The nine-second video features the late rapper DMX having a chat with Iyanla Vanzant, a life coach, therapist, and television host. The segment was originally from an episode of Iyanla: Fix My Life that aired in 2013, but when Bieber reposted the exchange this past Sunday, it gave fans and the rest of the internet plenty to think about.

Bieber reposted the video from the account of Los Angeles-based cannabis dispensary Gassy and chose not to add any commentary, a decision that could mean a thousand different things on the singer’s part. Bieber’s fans have been quick to notice his history with cannabis and have come to their conclusions as to why he would have posted this particular content without additional text.

Fans also linked Bieber to DMX’s answers as the pop star is known to be religious after publicly announcing his Christianity many times over the past few years. The rapper had also been vocal about his struggles with substance abuse in the past and was believed to have been clean for a while.

In the statement, the rep was reported to have said that the singer had ended a few business and personal relationships over the past year, including long-term contracts and ties, that no longer aligned with him and his “life direction.”

A U.S. tour for Bieber has not been confirmed, but chatter on social media has indicated a potential Australian tour is in the works. However, there are no official comments, as Rolling Stone reached out to Frontier Touring for comment on a potential tour. The ticketing company responded by saying, “At this stage, we have no information on this, and we look forward to the possibility of bringing the artist to Australia.”

It would be Bieber’s first live run since he had to pull out of the Justice World Tour in 2022 because of health issues. If a tour is on the cards, it could be when Bieber is ready and not when his music is on the charts.
